When Words Fail

My heart blends with yours in your pain. You have suffered the loss of someone you dearly loved. Words fail to properly express at a time like this; there just aren’t any.

Instead, there are plenty of “if onlys” and “whys” . . . just ask me. I could fill a page, hand it to you and you’d fill another. Those of us who grieve have understanding hearts and I feel your pain.

All I can say at these awful moments is “I am so sorry”, give you a hug, then point you to the one who is my Saving Grace. For it is in Him that we put our faith and trust. He alone knows your pain. He alone will hold you tightly in His embrace. He alone will make it right ~ when He comes again.

Your sun will never set or your moon go down. I, the Lord, will be Your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will come to an end.”        Isaiah 60:20

I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.  Jeremiah 31:12
